Tool Design

Fujin Industry skilled toolmakers engineer and build high-performance tooling for aluminium die-casting. With years of experience manufacturing tools for intricate automotive and industrial components, we understand the critical role tooling plays in determining the efficiency, quality and cost of the die casting process.

We design dies and molds with the latest CAD software and flow simulation software in collaboration with casting engineers using the DFM process to ensure tight tolerances, long life cycles and easy part injection. Our team select the optimal materials and heat treatments for tool components based on the size, geometry and production volumes required. With our in-house tooling department, this gives us the added advantage of having all the equipment for each specific tool, allowing design changes and maintenance to be carried out seamlessly.

At Fujin Industry, we specialize in cold chamber high-pressure aluminium die-casting. Our expertise lies in producing key aluminium die-casting components for household products, automotives, energy-saving, electronics, telecommunication, lighting, and other mechanical components.

Our machining and finishing services complement our die-casting capabilities. We have state-of-the-art equipment and experienced technicians to provide precision machining, surface finishing, and coating services to meet your specific requirements.

Melting Non-Ferrous Metal

Crucible: a common industrial practice. Here's an overview of the process:

Equipment and Setup: A 300 kg crucible is typically made from high-quality graphite or silicon carbide to withstand high temperatures and resist chemical reactions with the molten metal.

Fuel Oil Burner: The burner should be capable of reaching temperatures of 1,200°C to 1,400°C to melt non-ferrous metals like copper (melting point ~1,085°C) or aluminum (melting point ~660°C). Efficient combustion of fuel oil requires a proper air-to-fuel ratio for complete combustion and to avoid soot formation.

Furnace Design: A reverberatory or crucible furnace is most suitable. The furnace chamber should have proper insulation (ceramic wool or refractory bricks) to retain heat efficiently. Include a chimney or flue for exhaust gases.

Temperature Control: Use a thermocouple or pyrometer to monitor the metal temperature and prevent overheating or contamination.
